What you should know now.

The most important answers regarding contracts, claims, legal entitlements, and my consulting services.

How long does an initial consultation take?

An initial consultation lasts about 20 minutes. After that, you will know where you stand and what the next sensible steps are. For more complex cases, we can decide together how to proceed.

How quickly will things progress?

That depends on the individual case. Some conflicts can be resolved quickly out of court. Court proceedings can take more time. I will keep you informed every step of the way.

What documents should I bring with me?

Bring all documents related to your case. Contracts, emails, letters, invoices. The more context you provide, the better I can help you.

Do I have to speak in court myself?

In most cases, you do not have to appear in court in person or speak yourself if you do not wish to. Only if the court orders a personal hearing or if it is important for your case will you be heard – I will prepare you for this.

Can I attend an appointment online?

Yes, consultations are possible via video conference. It works just as well as meeting in person. You decide what works best for you.

What happens after an agreement?

If an agreement is reached, I will record it in writing. I will then ensure that the agreed terms are implemented and provide support with enforcement if necessary.

How much does a lawsuit cost?

Costs depend on the amount in dispute and the scope of the proceedings. For court proceedings, fees are generally based on statutory rates. However, many cases can also be resolved out of court.

Can I contest or terminate a contract?

Yes, under certain conditions, contracts can be contested, revoked, or terminated, for example in cases of deception, error in consumer contracts (regarding withdrawal), or breach of contract. Whether this is possible depends on the specific contract and the circumstances.

Can I receive legal aid?

Under certain conditions, legal aid is available. If your income is low, you can apply to the court for support. I will review with you whether this is an option.
